So I almost feel like a hack posting something about a waterfall after I read about my brother’s waterfall adventures… POTUS Day came and there was another visitor at Casa de Wiktor in San Diego – Mom came to visit. We had quite the weekend: the San Diego Zoo one day, Point Loma another. Finished the weekend with a grueling hike out to the Three Sisters Waterfalls. Short (4.5 miles) but steep – a 1000 foot decent and then up 400 feet to the top of the waterfall and then turn around and do the reverse to get back to the car.

The San Diego Zoo was pretty fun; lots of creatures. I think we were all a bigger fan of the Wild Animal Park though… We finally managed to get out to Point Loma when it was low tide. While sifting through the tide-pools, we saw a few anemones and various shelled creatures.
