He’s here! Our little man made his debut on Friday, September 7th at 4:34pm weighing in at 6lbs 7oz and 19.5 inches long. Aside from being a string bean, Mom and Dad were surprised to see William has a full head of brown hair (not blonde like Sophia).

We were fortunate enough to have Grandma Lainey and Grandpa in town to stay with big sister Sophia while we were at the hospital. They arrived a few days before William’s birth and are now experiencing all the craziness at Casa de Wiktor since coming home from the hospital. Between entertaining a 16 month old and juggling a newborn, there’s never a dull moment! Having the extra hands around the house has been a huge help to us and Sophia during the transition.

In addition to lots of snuggle time with Will, we’ve had fun cooking and relaxing around the house and even went on a few short outings. One afternoon was spent at the San Diego Botanic Gardens followed by lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant. The ladies even squeezed in a manicure afterwards! Another morning we went to the mall; Grandma Lainey and Grandpa were good sports and rode the choo-choo train with Sophia while Mom shopped. We might be slightly sleep deprived, but so far life as a family of four is pretty wonderful!
