When your husband tells you to plan a vacation, you plan a vacation! Jessica and I met up for a long weekend along the Northern coast of Florida. Just south of Georgia, St. Augustine and Amelia Island were two parts of Florida I hadn’t seen before and they seemed like the perfect quaint towns for us to explore.

The weekend was filled with lots of strolls through the old oak tree canopies and long rides on our beach cruisers. Both cities were a bit sleepier than we anticipated but the charm, architecture and good eats made up for it (I’m still dreaming of our dinner at Burlingame). Other than catching up with Jess, my favorite part of the trip was walking Boneyard Beach on Talbot Island. The old oaks and clouds made for quite the backdrop.
