Well maybe “killer jellyfish” is a bit of an exaggeration considering they were already dead but if they had been alive…

So Mere and I headed down to the beach for the fourth consecutive weekend (I wonder what our parents have been doing in the 40 degree Minnesota weather) and there were tons of these jellyfish floating around. The tentacles were long gone so they were all harmless.  I’ve seen jellies here and there but nothing this big.  The one in the picture was a good 15 inches across and there were some bigger ones drifting further from the shore.
