Movers came on Tuesday and the whole house was packed in about 8 hours; 78 boxes in all!  On Wednesday the movers returned and packed the entire house (including the 78 boxes) onto a semi truck.  We scrubbed and cleaned all night and hit the road Thursday.

Meredith and I have quite the road-trip planned.  First we head to Meridian, MS, to visit some friends of ours.  Then it’s off to Little Rock, AR, followed by a 9 hour drive to Amarillo, TX (yikes).  We’ll be off to Santa Fe, NM, for the next evening.  Next we’ll head to the Grand Canyon, spend a night in the tent (right now it’s forecasted to get down to 18 degrees) and then a day hiking around.  When we’re done hiking, we’ll head down to Scottsdale, AZ, to visit some friends for the evening.  Finally, on Wednesday we’ll finish up our adventure and arrive in San Diego!
