Sophia Rose came screaming into the world and our lives on Wednesday, April 27th at 9:48am. She weighed in at 6lbs 15oz and was 18 inches long. Phil and I were happy to welcome her and thrilled that she waited to make her debut until Phil returned home. We are so lucky to have our little family of 3 (well 4, Lucy still counts) under one roof.

So far the first week at home has gone surprisingly well. As expected, there have been a few fussy periods but overall Sophia is a very easy-going baby. Dad is a HUGE help so fingers crossed things continue to go just as well next week when he returns to work and Mom is left to hold down the fort all day.

Our family and friends have sent Sophia, Phil and myself so much love and support across the miles and we can’t wait for all of them to meet our bundle of joy.
