It’s hard to believe Sophia is almost 16 months old and even more difficult to believe that another little one will arrive on the scene in a few short weeks. Fortunately, my ever growing belly helps keep everything in perspective. At nearly 16 months, Sophia is such a delight and has really grown to be a curious and clever little girl. She makes us smile daily with her silly dancing, jibber jabbering or just watching her eat – this girl loves food!

Phil and I and I are so excited to meet our little guy and hopefully he’s well received by his big sister too. As eager as I am to meet him, the last few weeks have also been a bit bittersweet for me. With each day that passes I know the days of just Sophia and I playing together are quickly winding down and the days of working around an infant’s schedule (or lack thereof) will soon return. On the flip side, I’m excited to see Sophia interact with her little brother over the coming months and watch them grow up together.
