and the livin’s easy (sung to the tune of Sublime’s Summer Time). Our summer wasn’t quite so easy with the crazy busy schedule Phil was dealing with. The fact that it’s nearly November and I’m just now getting around to posting pictures from August is further evidence of that but alas, here we are!

Although our summer was anything but relaxing I can’t help but think when I look at these pictures that Southern California isn’t so bad. I mean, what’s not to like about sunny skies, a big blue ocean and spending my days with these smiling faces? Here are a few snapshots from some family time we managed to squeeze into our summer.
