While I disappeared for most of the month of June, Mere and the kids kept on enjoying the summer like we do here in America. Running around outside, enjoying the sun, jumping through sprinklers, and eating our body weight in watermelon. All four of us managed to get a trip to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park where the kids practiced making animal noises and (unsuccessfully) lobbied their parents for more stuffed animals.
