Perhaps it was all the changes and challenges, some anticipated and some not, but it certainly feels like Sophia did a lot of growing up this last year! She impressed us with her resilience, keeping her chin up and smiling through the challenges she was faced with. To say we are proud of this lady is an understatement and we only hope she knows how much love and support surrounds her as she starts year 12!

Sophia joked that she should just start celebrating her birthday on the 27th and the 28th since this is the second year she was sick on her birthday. Despite the fact that she missed dance and spent three hours in urgent care on her birthday, she still went to bed with a smile on her face. The next day 12 candles were lit and we were just as excited to celebrate our 12 year + 1 day Twinkle Toes. I hope we can soak up each moment with our girl this year before the big 1-3!
