And break…

With all the work around the house plus traveling, flight planning and studying we hadn’t had much down time lately. Last weekend we took a break from the to do list and didn’t lift a finger around the house. We slept in, cooked, shopped, soaked up some sun on the beach and shared a beer…

Tahiti with my sweetie

Nearly 3 years have flown by since we were married and each year we have had our hearts set on going on a honeymoon. This year we were finally able to make it happen! We always wanted to return Europe and travel parts of Spain and Italy we haven’t seen, in addition to Greece. However,…

Catching up…

All our faithful blog stalkers (hopefully we have one, or two) may have noticed we took a hiatus from posting, but now it’s time to catch up! Catching up was the name of the game for the end of our summer as we spent nearly every weekend traveling to visit family and friends. Our first…

May gray, June gloom…

We’re Home!

After 2589.53 miles we arrived at our “new” home in California. The next adventure is to begin our house search!  Until then, we are staying at an extended stay hotel.  As Phil said, the 250 square foot room is our motivation to get out there and find a house ASAP.

Bump Day

Not to be confused with Hump Day.  Today was Bump Day for a few reasons.  First, the check engine light in the Saab came on just before we were about to hit the road.  Opposed to fixing the car and spending 3 more days in Little Rock, we decided to rent a truck and tow…

Naval Aviator #29842

This past week we celebrated with Phil as he became Naval Aviator #29842.  Phil pinned on his “wings of gold” on Friday, February 27th at NAS Whiting Field.  Following are some pictures from the event.
