As always, we have plenty to be thankful for in life. It is not that November merits more thankfulness than other months but rather there happens to be a meal with a catchy name this month that helps you not ignore how lucky you are. Among the list of things we are thankful for include the visitors we had this month. Both the parents and the kids were thrilled to spend some time with Dad and Elaine over the holiday week.
Trips to DC and Fredericksburg supplemented the usual pre-school and dance schedules. The food turned out fantastic for the big day and our guests brought some of the best wines we’ve had in a long time. The day after the plates were cleared and we had digested enough to walk around again, we headed out to grab the old tannenbaum and prep for my favorite holiday of the year.
