So we took a brief trip out to Washington DC for Labor Day.  We spent a little time in Cumberland, MD, and then headed to the city for a few days.  It was nice to get back to one of our favorite cities.  We both have fond memories from DC when I was stationed in Quantico, VA.  Perhaps we will find ourselves back here some day!

Didn’t spend a whole lot of time taking pictures of the monuments (already have lots of those) but we did manage to walk through the zoo and some of the museums.  We were able to have a killer crab feast on Sunday; nothing beats a couple dozen steamed blue crabs.  Anyone who tells you differently isn’t telling the truth!
