Fallish

We wrapped up October by doing what everyone should do around Halloween — carve pumpkins! We had a lot of trick-or-treaters and were cleaned out after an hour or so. November brought more visitors to Case de Wiktor. Kathy arrived for a week long visit to celebrate her and Carolyn’s birthday month. During her visit we worked on sewing projects, painted pottery, made a crazy birthday cake for Carolyn and cooked some tasty meals. We also got our hands dirty in the backyard a few days. A small flower bed was planted and the rest of the top soil from the sod project was FINALLY moved from the driveway to the retaining walls.

Lucky for me, my house guests did most of the heavy lifting and allowed me to take it easy. It’s hard to believe we’re nearing the kick off of the holiday season. Can’t wait for some turkey and quality time with friends and family!
